Mr. Reality Check gets a redesign!

Its been a busy few days here at EMG. Not only are we now releasing our first videos for the Mario series under Played By Canadian Yeti but we are also learning new techniques and stepping up our production value by a fair margin.

Halfway through the Mario series, we did some updates and refinements. You’ll notice some subtle improvements and a few major ones. None of that compares to the epic redesign for Mr. Reality Check.

Inlight of policy changes and some personal decisions from Mr. Eaton, we’ve decided to take a new path with a lot of our podcasts, starting right here.

We thought things we just to simple and thought it would be important to add more production value to everything. A few private messages came in about our launch videos with a few suggestions.

It was noted that the current theme song for Mr. Reality Check had too much of a “News” vibe. After searching high and low, combing over nearly 300 tracks, we finally found one that would work and it sounds amazing.

We thought the title card was too boring and decided to step it up a notch with a new planet graphic and updating the positions of the font and include our Facebook page for the podcast.

Please have a look at our amazing new intro video and make sure to subscribe.

We also improved the description for the series. you can read the updated version below.

We strongly support the fundamental freedoms of all Canadians to be able to enjoy the freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other forms of media and communication.

We openly reject censorship under the guise of political correctness in all forms. We do not feel that anyone, should be told what they are allowed to think. After all, the great Dr. Jordan Peterson said “To be able to think, you have to risk being offensive”

Canadians should be able to ask questions and freely debate topics, without being suppressed, de-platformed or suffer threats of physical harm and violence for having “inconvenient” opinions or be labelled guilty of “wrongthink”.

Different topics will be presented along with a critical analysis by either the host, guest host, special guest interviews or a full discussion panel.

Legal Issues – A crisis on social media

You might have noticed that over the past week things have been very quite here at EMG. We’ve been working hard writing scripts and conducting research for our upcoming programs and putting a lot of effort into the Parliamentary Report, which has included graphic optimizations and a refresh in design.

The major thing that we’ve been trying to sort out are the new restrictions surrounding social media and advertising. Since all of our posts on here get posted across 3 major social media networks, we have to be careful to follow the community standards.

Justin Trudeau has caused a lot of problems when he summoned many of these same social media companies to Ottawa. He has imposed a very restrictive new digital charter that restricts the free flow of information. These new rules that were put in place on Facebook put the bulk of our business in jeopardy of not being able to publish to the platform or share links about our episodes.

The new rules on Facebook ban all advertising about social issues, elections and politics in Canada unless you have “proved” you identity and location of residence to Facebook because they its a “danger to the safety to the community.”

Our company President Mr Joshua Eaton has taken steps to make sure we are able to stay in business and keep publishing to social media. Hes provided all necessary paperwork & identification to Facebook. He was sent a letter with a physical verification code and as of July 10th is now allowed to post/share/advertise about any of the “restricted topics”.

On July 10th, Mr. Eaton submitted the Facebook pages for both Eaton Media Group & the Intellectual Dark Web to be approved. We heard back from Facebook on the 11th and both pages have been approved

We are safe and hope that no more issues come up thanks to the federal government.
